Colloquium Committee — Co-Chair (with Robert Niedzialomski): organize the department's colloquium each semester, see details below.

Applied Mathematics Textbook Committee: review and recommend textbooks for the applied mathematics sequence, with rationale, and update course objectives and outlines to match new texts

Departmental Library Liaison: sole liaison for the department's library resources — maintaining the textbook and journal inventory as editions change, supervising book orders, and ensuring students and faculty have access to needed materials.

Faculty Evaluation Committee: reviewed and recommended improvements to the department's procedures for annual faculty evaluation, adjunct evaluation, and merit consideration.

Advisory and Planning Committee: helped set and assess the department's goals and objectives in alignment with the university's and college's five-year strategic plans.

Calculus Course Coordinator: coordinated all sections of Calculus — conferring with instructors, sharing exam and course materials, recommending content and textbook changes, and overseeing common departmental exams.

Colloquium Committee
I co-chair the Department of Mathematics and Statistics Colloquium at UT Martin with Robert Niedzialomski. Together we organize the department's colloquium each semester — inviting speakers and coordinating a program that spans research, teaching and pedagogy, undergraduate research, and graduate-school pathways for our students. Strategic Planning
UT Martin Strategic Plan, Enrollment Growth (Goal 1)(2024) — appointed by Provost Phil Cavalier. Goal 1 is "sustainable enrollment growth" — the strategies under it cover enrollment planning, recruitment (including international and dual-enrollment), advising, and retention.
Program Review (THEC)

Interdisciplinary Studies (2025) — Chair — reviewed the program's self-study, interviewed faculty and students, combined committee members' evaluations into the final report, and briefed the findings in the Chancellor's office. Appointed by the Office of Accreditation and Assessment.

Political Science (2026) — Committee Member — responsible for the faculty portion of the review. Appointed by the Office of Accreditation and Assessment.
Faculty Research and Development
Faculty Research and Development Committee (2025-'27) — prepare guidelines, evaluate applications, and recommend recipients for faculty research and development grants, and review Regan Leave (faculty research leave) applications.
